Portrait

A portrait is never just an image: it is an encounter, a fragile tension between the viewer and the subject. Each face becomes a territory, each gaze a passageway to intimacy.
Each portrait is a silent encounter, a conversation where words become unnecessary. What interests me is that fragile moment when a person reveals themselves, both exposed and concealed. To photograph a face is to seek the light behind the gaze.
I try to capture that flicker of humanity: a gesture, a breath, a burst of emotion. These faces tell a story, that of a moment suspended between modesty and truth.
For me, a photographic portrait is not a frozen image. It is a space for dialogue, a trace of what took place between the photographer and their subject – a fragment of life entrusted to the light.
So many faces that make up a human mosaic, a mirror of our own humanity.
These faces tell a story beyond themselves: a universal story of light and humanity.
